Privacy Policy

What we collect

ProteinPrice.com is a static, mostly read-only site. We collect the bare minimum needed to keep the site online and understand which pages and products are useful.

• Site analytics: aggregate visitor numbers via Cloudflare Analytics. This is privacy-respecting analytics that does not use cookies or personal identifiers. We see page views, country, and referrer in aggregate: never individual users.
• Affiliate link clicks: when you click an outbound "View Deal" or "Buy Now" link, the click is logged anonymously (timestamp, destination retailer, source page) so we can measure which products and pages are working. No personal information is attached to these events.
• Server logs: standard request logs (IP, user agent, requested URL) are retained briefly by our hosting provider for abuse prevention and then rotated.

What we DON'T collect

• No email signups currently. We do not run a newsletter or mailing list at this time. If we ever add one, signing up will be opt-in and you'll see a separate consent flow.
• No account system. There is nothing to register for. No usernames, passwords, or profiles exist on this site.
• No payment information. We never handle credit card or banking data. All purchases happen on the retailer's own checkout, under their privacy policy.
• No personal identifiers in analytics. We do not fingerprint visitors or build behavioral profiles.

Cookies

ProteinPrice.com itself uses only essential cookies needed for basic site functionality: for example, remembering your filter preferences on a category page during your visit.

When you click an outbound link to a retailer, that retailer (and any affiliate networks they participate in) may set their own tracking cookies in your browser to attribute the purchase. These cookies are set by the retailer's domain, not ours, and are governed by the retailer's privacy policy. You can clear or block these cookies in your browser settings at any time without affecting how ProteinPrice.com works.

Third parties

We try to keep the third-party footprint of the site small. The services involved in delivering ProteinPrice.com to you are:

• Cloudflare: hosting, CDN, and privacy-respecting analytics
• Google Fonts: web font delivery (Inter typeface)
• Affiliate networks: Amazon Associates, ShareASale, Impact Radius, Awin, CJ Affiliate, and direct retailer programs (iHerb, MyProtein, Bodybuilding.com, Tiger Fitness, and others). These networks only see traffic when you actively click an outbound link.

Each of these providers has their own privacy policy. We do not share any additional data with them beyond what is inherent in delivering the page or processing a click.

Your rights

Because we hold so little data about you, most data-subject rights are simple in practice:

• Right to know: you can ask what information we hold about you. For most visitors the honest answer is "nothing tied to you personally."
• Right to delete: you can ask us to delete any identifiable data we may have. Email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days.
• Right to object: you can use a browser tracker blocker or VPN to opt out of analytics entirely. We will not attempt to circumvent these.

Children

ProteinPrice.com is not directed at users under 13 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact [email protected] and we will remove it.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy we will change the effective date at the top of the page. Material changes (for example, adding a newsletter or a new analytics provider) will be flagged clearly. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
