Informed Sport is a UK-based third-party testing program that screens every production batch of a certified product against the WADA banned-substance list. It is widely used by European brands and is the de facto standard for British and European tested athletes.
Why It Matters
Informed Sport's batch-by-batch model is its main advantage. NSF tests products on a sampling schedule; Informed Sport tests every batch. For an athlete subject to drug testing, an Informed Sport seal on a specific batch number is the closest you can get to a guarantee.
How to Spot It on a Label
The Informed Sport logo is a red-and-black seal that often includes a batch lookup code. You can check your specific batch on the Informed Sport website. BPN, MyProtein and Transparent Labs are common Informed Sport users.
